POLISHED BRASS is a professional brass ensemble, playing light classical and popular music for your listenening pleasure. We can perform as a ten or twenty-piece band, rivalling the sound of a full millatary or brass band-or as a quintet, for those occasions when a smaller group would be more appropriate. (Drums can be added to the quintet forming a six-piece.) We are able to play indoors or outside and can be set up and ready to play in only ten minutes. The band has an extensive repertoire (listed on the website,) and can also provide fanfare trumpets from two trumpets upwards. As you can see from the pictures on the site, Polished Brass can wear different costumes, for special occasions. We also have a large selection of Christmas music. If required, the band can change location easily during an event and can play seated or standing, depending on the length of the performance.

POLISHED BRASS has a unique blend of highly experienced professional players from both classical and jazz backgrounds. Members of the band have performed with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Opera House, Bournemouth Sinfonietta, Jack Jones, Shirley Bassey etc...... Our venues and clients have included the Savoy, Cafe Royal, London Hilton, The Royal Lancaster and Grosvenor House.
